In the expansion titledDetective: Smoke and Mirrors, players will once again walk the beat as homicide detectives trying to solve the case. Judging the book by its cover, or in this case the board game expansion by its art, we can deduce that it supports solitaire play. The expansion toDetective: City of Angelswill also include three new cases for the players to rack their brains over as they try to figure out this puzzle of murder and deceit. Regarding the new cases designer Evan Derrick had this tidbit to share:
“As a point of interest, the cases in Smoke & Mirrors are the most complex and challenging cases we've designed so far for the game.”
